Situated in a quiet part of the small city of Hereford, two-minutes' walk from the magnificent Hereford Cathedral, Castle House is a classic, British hotel owned and run by a local farming family.  The hotel has 24 individually designed, ensuite bedrooms, 8 of which are in a nearby Townhouse, Number 25.

Our Waterside Restaurant & Bar is a relaxed, light and airy space with brasserie-style menus. The glass doors open onto a pretty, terraced garden beside the old Hereford Castle's moat.

Head Chef Gabor Katona's menus are modern British, with an international twist, using seasonal produce from well-known local suppliers or, where possible, the kitchen garden on our nearby Ballingham Hall farm - true Farm to Fork story here.

Castle House is a great base from which to do business or discover the beautiful, unspoilt county of Herefordshire and the Wye Valley. Visitors can explore the medieval city of Hereford with its world-famous Mappa Mundi and Chain Library and make the most our great seasonal offers.
